Principal photography on ear for eye, the second feature film from BAFTA and Olivier Award-winning writer and director, debbie tucker green, has wrapped at Kennington Studios. tucker green has adapted and reimagined ear for eye, her highly acclaimed 2018 stage production at the Royal Court Theatre, for the screen. Produced by Fiona Lamptey, the ensemble cast includes Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel, No Time To Die), Tosin Cole (Doctor Who, The Souvenir), Carmen Munroe (Desmond’s), Danny Sapani (Harlots, MotherFatherSon), Nadine Marshall (Sitting In Limbo) and Arinzé Kene (I’m Your Woman). ear for eye follows British and American Black characters of different generations navigating their way through today’s society, offering a timely and critical perspective on the state of the nation.
